The Nomo Smart Care system was made for:

The Nomo system uses sensors, not cameras, to monitor in-home motion. Data from sensors is sent to the Nomo mobile app and allows you, or a circle of trusted caregivers, to check in on your loved one from anywhere, any time.

The system includes a Hub, Nomo Tags, and Satellites, providing coverage throughout the home. It integrates seamlessly with the Nomo app, which requires a monthly subscription for features like 24×7 support and notifications.

Development Process

We developed a highly scalable and secure backend for the Nomo Smart Care app using TypeScript.js on AWS, ensuring seamless cloud integration and reliable performance. This architecture allows for efficient data handling and robust security features, meeting the demands of modern applications. The web interface was crafted with Next.js, which provides a fast and responsive user experience. Its server-side rendering capabilities enhance performance, ensuring users can access content quickly and efficiently.

For the mobile application, we adopted a native development approach using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android. This choice allows us to deliver a seamless, intuitive experience tailored to each platform, fully utilizing their unique features and capabilities, such as push notifications and local storage. Our commitment to employing the latest technologies not only enhances user satisfaction but also positions the app for future scalability and adaptability in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
